Beach Park
Beach Park
An abundance of large oak trees, winding, low-traffic streets, very large lots and a wide variety of architectural styles make Beach Park a unique and desirable neighborhood in South Tampa. Beach Park was developed in the early 1920’s on land which was once a mixture of thick Florida tropical brush, palm trees and oak forests on the waterfront of Old Tampa Bay. Today, Swann Circle Park awaits visitors after they pass through the historic entry to Beach Park (see photo to right). For those who love the water, the west side of Beach Park features many beautiful waterfront homes. Many of the original 1920's Mediterranean style mansions are still enjoyed by residents throughout this historic, established neighborhood.
